Southwest Ontario Energy Storage Project
The Southwest Ontario energy Energy Storage Project is a large-scale battery energy storage project located in Essex County and is planned to be up to 650 MW in size. The project is located on 200+ acres of land and will help meet the huge growth in electricity demand in the local area and will also benefit the overall Ontario electricity system. Commercial operation of the project is planned for the spring of 2025.
